 London, Apr 11 (ANI): A group of researchers has claimed to have found a cure for skin cancer.
A vaccine, which attacks tumour cells, leaving healthy cells undamaged and carries agents that boost the body’s response to skin cancer, is being tested in the UK.

Health Unit supports tanning ban for those under 18

The Porcupine Health Unit is pleased to announce that its Board of Health has carried a motion to support the Canadian Cancer Society’s call for government action that will protect the public from the harmful effects of artificial tanning. With this motion, the Porcupine Health Unit joins other professional bodies across Ontario, such as the Canadian Dermatology Association and Cancer Care Ontario, who are encouraging the development of strong and comprehensive legislation that will ban artificial tanning for those under the age of 18.… continue reading
