Rona, a Canadian doctor specialising in complementary and alternative medicine, has found the vast majority of his patients low on vitamin D, even in the summer, and says 70% of adults and children in the US need supplementation.

The Capital Regional District is seeking a ban on tanning beds for youth.
The region has moved a step closer to banning people under the age of 18 from using tanning beds.
A Capital Regional District committee voted unanimously yesterday to ask the regional board to approve a bylaw that would restrict tanning bed use by those under 18.
