OTTAWA – Manitoba Conservative MP James Bezan is taking on tanning.
The Selkirk-Interlake MP chose World Cancer Day today to announce a private members bill he has planned to force tanning salons to put up more specific and more prominent warning labels on tanning beds.

1.Bad news week for the tanning industry
- CDA press release and PSA Campaign
- Make sure if you advertise anywhere you call your ad rep to have the PSA pulled. This has been working right across the country.
- JCTA press release went out Feb 2nd to counter the CDA – a number of interviews were done.
