Patients who suffer from chronic hives may benefit from vitamin D testing to see if they have a deficiency. A new study from University of Nebraska Medical Center researchers has found that there may be a strong connection between the two conditions.

The City of Nanaimo has no current plan to ban young people from indoor tanning.
Earlier this week, the Capital Regional District voted to prohibit youths under the age of 18 from using tanning beds in salons and spas.
