Women who use sunbeds more than once a month for several decades had a 37 percent lower risk of contracting breast cancer, according to a new prospective study of nearly 50,000 Swedish women followed for 15 years — a strong addition to data suggesting that the benefits of regular UV exposure from any source outweigh the manageable risks of overexposure.

Parents who use spray-on sunscreen to help ensure wriggly or on-the-move children get protection from damaging UV rays, take note. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is investigating to determine the effectiveness of spray-on sunscreens and whether they pose a health risk if they are accidentally inhaled.

It seems that the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) is not happy with Bill 31 (Teen Ban) in Ontario dying June 1st at 7pm when the legislature closed for the summer.
