Severe psoriasis linked to increased risk American researchers from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, have found that people with a severe form of the skin disease psoriasis are at increased risk of some types of skin cancer and cancers of the lymphatic system – the body system that produces specialised white blood cells to help fight disease.
