An interesting study, and not surprising, since vitamin D
is essential for the absorption of calcium into the bone. My opinion is that
plenty of sunlight is more effective than supplementation at preventing
fractures, since full-body sun exposure at midday can produce up to 20,000 IU
of vitamin D, along with numerous other healthful photoproducts.… continue reading
