A new intervention study from Canadian researchers is the first to find changes in the human gut microbiota in response to UVB light

A lack of sun exposure/UVB radiation has been linked to a decrease in vitamin D synthesis, which has been hypothesized to be one of the environmental factors related to the current rise in immune-related conditions through involving the gut microbiota.
