JCTA Research Project on Vitamin D levels

Objective This project is designed to find out whether the Health Authority recommendations are correct for Vitamin D intake and maintaining Vitamin D Blood Levels in the 100 to 150 nmol/L range without indoor tanning included. The project will also be designed to find out if the average tanner can maintain vitamin d3 levels throughout the winter months.… continue reading

    • Make sure if you advertise anywhere you call your ad rep to have the PSA pulled. This has been working right across the country.
    • JCTA press release went out Feb 2nd to counter the CDA – a number of interviews were done.

Bill 83 – Teen Tanning Ban

The government of Ontario let Bill 83 die on March 8th, 2010. The JCTA continues to work with the government on new regulations that will hopefully follow the JCTA guidelines I’d like to thank the membership for their financial support.
