1.Bad news week for the tanning industry
- CDA press release and PSA Campaign
- Make sure if you advertise anywhere you call your ad rep to have the PSA pulled. This has been working right across the country.
- JCTA press release went out Feb 2nd to counter the CDA – a number of interviews were done.
Bill 83 – Teen Tanning Ban

The government of Ontario let Bill 83 die on March 8th, 2010. The JCTA continues to work with the government on new regulations that will hopefully follow the JCTA guidelines

Higher Vitamin D levels could save 37,000 lives a year
