Scientists at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have shown that active chemicals in sunscreens can readily soak into the bloodstream, confirming the need for more testing on whether these products are safe, the researchers said on Tuesday.

Marc Sorenson has a doctorate in education, and is the founder of the Sunlight Institute, has written an excellent book, “Embrace the Sun,” in which he reveals why Sunlight is foundational for optimal health and longevity. While vitamin D supplements clearly have their place, you cannot obtain all the benefits you get from the Sun when you swallow it.

According to the website, Cancer Research UK, it states that “using sunbeds can increase your risk of melanoma skin cancer by 16-20%”.1
In support of this statement, a meta-analysis of observational studies in 2014 of those with melanoma who had used indoor tanning beds (sun beds), found that the odds ratio for melanoma associated with “ever use” of sunbeds was 1.16.2 In other words, there was a 16% increase in the odds of getting a melanoma with sunbed use compared to not using a sunbed.…
